Mikage-cho (御影町, Mikage-cho)?, also known as Lunarvale in Revelations: Persona, is the main setting of Megami Ibunroku Persona.

In the North American localization of the PlayStation version, the city was renamed Lunarvale and is said to be an American city rather than Japanese. In the newer and more faithful localization on the PSP, it was changed back to Mikage-cho.
Real Mikage-cho[]
Mikage-cho is home to St. Hermelin High School, where the protagonist and his friends are students. Within the game's opening minutes, Mikage-cho is mysteriously invaded by demons and the protagonist's party, having been granted the power of Persona, must investigate the cause and put a stop to it.
Though the world's eyes were on Mikage-cho after the incident with SEBEC and Takahisa Kandori, normalcy eventually returned to the town. Time passed, and the incident faded from most people's minds, except for those directly involved, who reference the events during Persona 2.
Maki Sonomura's Mikage-cho[]
Due to the effects of the DEVA System, an alternate version of the city was created according to the wishes of Maki Sonomura. Maki's Mikage-cho is a utopia overseen by Mai, where things such as the police station or the Mikage Hospital do not exist (the latter because of the real Maki's dislike of hospitals due to her long hospitalization), being replaced by the Lost Forest and Mana Castle respectively. Also, some of the citizens have different personalities and/or backgrounds in order to satisfy Maki's wishes (Vice Principal Takahashi Hanya being as nice as Principal Ooishi and Yuko Himeno not being poor, for example).
As the city is based on Maki's memories before her hospitalization, events that happened after that point in time do not happen in her version of the city; the school gym wasn't renovated, and SEBEC never came to Mikage-cho or demolished the Haunted Mansion in order to build their building.
Some time before the beginning of the game, Takahisa Kandori came to the city and convinced Aki to join him. As a result, the city was separated into two halves, only connected via the subway.
As the DEVA System is shut down permanently at the end of the game, Maki's Mikage-cho ceases to be, erasing everything in it.

- Element encompasses Fire, Ice, Wind and Earth. Force encompasses Electric, Nuclear, Gravity and Blast.
- Vulnerability means that the demon receives 125% of damage from that type of attack, which is the lowest amount a demon can take over 100% (neutral damage). Any value higher is considered Weakness.
