Mifunashiro is where some of the Manikins live in later in the game and is considered their holy land. It is said that Manikins were born from mud in a river flowing from Mifunashiro. Until Jyoji Hijiri is killed in the Amala Temple, the Demi-fiend is unable to explore past the entrance area of Mifunashiro, which has two doors, one of which will be broken once Chiaki and her followers invade Asakusa. During the invasion, Chiaki and her followers massacre the majority of Manikins living there, though there are some of them who are still alive but are badly injured, and there are some who would fight the Demi-fiend's party. Mifunashiro itself is divided into multiple levels.
In the lowest level, there is a boss fight that changes depending on whether the Demi-fiend follows the Reason of Yosuga or not: following the Reason of Yosuga results in fighting Futomimi while not following the Reason of Yosuga results in fighting Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel. Regardless of the different boss the Demi-fiend fights (as Chiaki would kill Futomimi when the Demi-fiend was fighting against the three archangels), Chiaki would use the Manikins' Magatsuhi to summon her demonic sponsor Baal Avatar.
