As you can see in the Shadow Self pages for Persona 4 & 5, I put up this thing called a "reality self" in the Infobox referring to the characters they were based on. For example Yosuke Hanamura is the "reality self" of Shadow Yosuke. Problem is that the Shadow Selves in Persona 2 & even Shadow Labrys use Personas. Can I not put their "reality selves" there because of that?
Again I recommend asking another experienced editor about this since I'm not invested in working on the TMS pages. But find a stat template that might match your needs, and copy and paste the code into your wiki sandbox and play around with the result until you have a TMS stat box that is satisfactory to the standards of the wiki, then add it as a Template:x page which can be used on the TMS mirage pages.
3: you can use your own wiki page to experiment with the code before actually putting it up so you don't screw with stuff. you can copy the pqstats template onto your sandbox and modify it as a TMS stat template, which is basically how I made stat templates myself back in the day.
1: I think Great Mara is still active but I would suggest doing what I suggested in #3 and try to copy code onto your page and mess around with it. you can learn a surprising amount and I'm saying this from experience. I can't speak for all the admins but I don't support TMS being on the SMT wiki since TMS info is excellently covered elsewhere so that's why my support for this is limp.
Hi Zahlzeit. Please see the discussion on Portable Infobox on my Message Wall and let us know your opinion if we should proceed or halt this feature to our Wiki. Also, I plan to make Inpursuit one of the admins for works that might require staff privileges.
Welcome back to the wiki! I saw your return has brought change and it's definitely a refreshing one. I'll have to get used to it, since I am a bit old-fashioned, but the only constant is change after all.
Thank you for returning, and I look forward to you back with the dedicated editors and admins of the Wiki :)
Sorry, you closed your talk page so I can't reply there anymore!
I've been a lurker here for a while, I just haven't ever contributed because I'm not enough of a fan of the series to contribute anything worthwhile. When AlexShepherd went absolutely out of control on the Xenosaga Wiki and needed to be put down, I started looking into other Wikis he was contributing at to see if there was a pattern or not.
After some brief time on Google it became obvious that this guy was a nutjob (Google his name at your own peril, the Silent Hill Wiki meltdown in particular is... sanity-breaking.) and I started looking at all the Wikis I occasionally read, and sure enough, here he was, uploading weird stuff, theories, putting spoilers on pages and, most important of all, having half a dozen warnings by your admins on his talk page telling him to stop edit warring/arguing so much.
I've never really wanted to bring this up because it's speculatory, but I feel like I should mention something. One of the reasons Alex has so many edits seems to be because whenever he's editing something he knows people will disagree with he'll make dozens of smaller edits to try and bury it in the recent changes section. For an example at one point he edited the article on Sae and people kept reverting his edits. After he reverted it back he immediately made around 20 edits within 5 minutes one after the other, edits like moving trivia up or down in the trivia section, or adding and then deleting text. I think it's the reason he posts so many pictures too.
I've seen him make similar edits on pages where people revert his edits, where he'll revert it back and make a bunch of meaningless edits, which is something I've seen people use to get the newer edits reverted instead of the old.
The only reasons I could see for him doing this would be to hide edits in the recent changes section, hide edits on his contribrutions page, or to inflate his edit count so he can bring up his edit count when people disagree with him or admins block him. Like "Hey you can't block me I have over 10,000 edits" so he seems like he does a lot for the wiki.
I can't say for certain that's what going on here, and I don't like being accusatory. But it bugs me everytime I see him discussed and I wanted to know your opinion on it.
This was actually a thing that I was accused of when I started, so it's definitely a real thing. I'm not so sure though but I did find it hard to edit his edits. I have a feeling he's not necessarily malicious, but his behavior doesn't fit what we're looking for in this wikia.
Seeing his behavior across half a dozen wikias, I can say that while he might not be malicious, he definitely lacks a lot of basic social skills. I don't normally like using the word autistic like this, because it comes off as insulting, but in his particular case it seems to be what's actually going on. He has really weird obsessions, he refuses to acknowledge his mistakes, shifts all blame onto others, automatically assumes any authoritative action against him is abuse of power and thus disregards it, and cannot have a conversation without turning it into an argument.
In fact he's whining about how you guys abused your power by banning him here as we speak on the community Wikia. He claims that you guys never gave him any warnings (his talk page was full of them), that he never made any mistakes just 'things he could have handled better', and a bunch of other absurd claims.
