Maki Sonomura did not accept the existence of the darkness that lurks within her mind, thus an alternate self was born to rule over that darkness. Not believing that she was truly herself, "Ideal" Maki began to notice the existence of another Maki after the DEVA System incident. Making her question who is the true self and what is the truth. By drowning in the sea of men's most ugly emotions, "Ideal" Maki is able to find her true self. She eventually unites the glass shards that are her various personalities.
