Makanda decreases the magical attack power of all enemies.
In Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner, the debuff is permanent and can stack up to 4 ranks. The attack debuff and the attack buff (Makakaja) are separate variables, so although they stack with one-another and can neutralize each-other's effects, they still can only be used 4 times each unless one of the stats is reset with Dekunda or Dekaja. In Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2, the debuff can only stack up to 3 ranks.
In Shin Megami Tensei NINE and Shin Megami Tensei IMAGINE, Makanda only affects one foe.
