History[]
A seemingly ordinary 14-year-old girl with a loving family who was suddenly offered by Kyubey, a manipulative alien with no empathy towards humans, to become a magical girl in exchange for a wish. However, one of her fellow friends, known as Homura Akemi, constantly stops her from making a contract with Kyubey. While initially optimistic and idealistic, she gradually breaks down as more and more of her fellow friends become magical girls and die or suffer from horrific tragedies, eventually culminating to the reveal that for each time Homura saves Madoka from being a magical girl, Madoka herself would face worse misfortune and gather more magical power within her for each reset timeline, usually ending up with her being killed or even worse, turned into a Witch monster known as Kriemhild Gretchen that would absolutely end a timeline whenever it appears.
