Initially appearing as a PhantomMirage named Nieg, he regains his memories upon the player having traded clusters of Detritus with him 36 times after saving him in Illusory Daitama as a part of the Request Path of the Strong on New Game Plus files, which is triggered by trading with Nieg 12 times. Remembering that he is the Mage Dragon and once a former ally of the Shadow Dragon, Medeus, he gives the player the request The Dragon Descends which involves a battle with him in his true form in Illusory Urahara. He has 340 attack and 95 armor.
Notes[]
Like most bosses, M-DEUS is able to act twice per turn and is immune to status effects
Attacks dealt to M-DEUS cannot exceed 499 damage due to a special Passive ability that limits the damage he receives; attacks that deal more than that will be reduced to 499.
M-DEUS always uses Dies Irae every four turns after the third turn; he will also always use the move after using Energy Drain on the previous turn
The skill, Dies Irae, cumulatively increases in power when the following occur:
When an enemy uses Final Sacrifice
When a player character is knocked out
And as the amount of Rounds go on, so time is not on your side.
Reinforcements summoned in battle are limited and each wave only appears when M-DEUS' HP reaches certain thresholds
The reinforcements appear in pairs in the following order and will use the skill Final Sacrifice on their fourth turn; note that the Swordmasters and Wyvern Lords can each act twice per turn and waves can be skipped if enough damage is done to the boss
Bulwark Swordmaster x 2
Bulwark General x 2

When no allies are present, M-DEUS will reflect everything but Dragon effective skills, Almighty skills, Special Performances, Duo Arts, Ad-lib Performances, and their respective sessions. The boss is, however, always neutral to Mind and immune to Body.
The table below indicates M-DEUS' affinities when his allies are present; keep in mind that these are not the same as the respective enemies' affinities'
