Lucy is a Persona in Persona 5 Royal.

History

Lucy Hay, Countess of Carlisle was an English courtier. Active during the reign of Charles I and the Second Civil War, she is notable for aiding both sides at different times. Prior to the Civil War, she was a key ally of the Parliamentarians. Following the breakout of war, she switched sides and helped the Royalists, leading to her arrest and imprisonment by Parliamentarians. She died in 1660, shortly after the restoration of Charles II.

Her character and duplicitous actions are popularly considered the inspiration for the character of Milady de Winter in Alexander Dumas's novel The Three Musketeers.

Lucy is one of the few Personas in the series based on a historical figure, rather than a figure from mythology or folklore.
