History
Lorenz is a recurring character in the Fire Emblem series, specifically the titles set in Archanea. A general of Grust and longtime friend to King Mostyn of Talys, he opposed his lord's decision to align the country with the Dolhr Empire, but complied out of loyalty to the crown. During Prince Marth's invasion of Grust, Lorenz was confronted by Mostyn's daughter Caeda, who convinced him to save Grust by standing against Dolhr and join the Archanean Alliance.
After the war, Lorenz was placed in control of Grust and was tasked with protecting the now orphaned prince and princess of Grust. When Emperor Hardin fell into madness and assigned the corrupted Lang in control of Grust, Lorenz was forced to rebel against them in order to protect the royal siblings. After putting the siblings under the protection of Ogma, a wounded Lorenz was forced to do battle with Altean army and killed himself after explaining the truth of the situation to Marth.

Lorenz appears as an enemy in one of Mamori's side quests, presumably resides where corrupted Draug captured Barry. He only appear in Mamori's side quest. After he is defeated he was purified by Mamori, who then remembered Draug before he disappeared. He is voiced by Shozo Sasaki. Template:SMT x FE
