Lorelei is a beautiful river maiden and malicious nixie who lives at the rock of the same name on the Rhine River that appears in German lore. She uses her her enchanting voice to sing to lure sailors of the Rhine River to their doom by crashing into rocks and drowning. In ancient times, she was seen as one and the same as the river goddess, but the menacing rock and heavy currents of the Rhine turned her into a witch that drags people below the waters. There are many legends concerning Lorelei. In some, she is a goddess, in others, she is a water witch, and there is even a story where she is a figure of tragic love. She became well known due to her appearance in one of Heinrich Heine's poems.

A demon participating in the Challenge Quest, RxW Smacktacular XIII. Part of Team Red, she is found in Shinjuku Kabuki-cho. Called the beautiful songstress of the Expanse who sings mysterious and magical melodies, she asks Flynn to hear her song of tragic love. The other Hunters of Team White are freed from their trance after her song ends.

Airi Ban summons Lorelei after one of the Megrez buds crushes a concert hall that held her past memories. After Lorelei strums her harp once, huge spikes of ice instantly impale the Septentrion, causing Megrez to "bleed" and leave its core vulnerable.
Lorelei is later summoned in battle against Benetnasch. It joined in with other demons to attack the vulnerable full body, using its ice attacks once again to impale the Septentrion for a short time. However, thanks to Benetnasch's demon-revoking properties, Lorelei was forced back into its cell-phone among the other demons, leaving Airi helpless. Later she is seen again in Hibiki's demon app by fusing her with Black Frost into Purple Mirror.
