Demon Rumors

Demon Rumors are learned by making pacts with demons and asking for 'Information'; once a rumor is obtained, it must be spread through demons in the same manner, by having a demon with a pact 'spread a rumor'. Rumors can also be obtained without a pact by maxing a demon's Eagerness and Happiness simultaneously, however spreading them can only be done after forging a pact.

Miscalleneous/Story-based

Rumor	Effect
Oracle of Maia	Causes the apocalypse once a series of seemingly inconspicuous events are performed in a specific order and was spread by Nyarlathotep to prove to Philemon that humanity desires ruin.
Bolontiku	A race of ultra-advanced ancient aliens that brought life to earth through the spaceship Xibalba.
Last Battalion	A legion of Nazis that supposedly survived WWII and evolved into an ultra-advanced army in Antarctica. They descend to Sumaru City in a bid to occupy Xibalba.
Xibalba	An alien spaceship owned by the Bolontiku, who wrested control over it from other Maian aliens through a devastating galactic war. It is now hibernating underneath Sumaru City and the Mayan Ruins are modeled after it.
Joker Summoning Ritual	Calling one's own phone number summons Joker, a mysterious man who can grant any wish. However, if one calls him without anything in mind, Joker steals their Ideal Energy and renders them Shadowmen. Those granted wishes by Joker are forced to become members of the Masked Circle.
Crystal Skull	Was supposedly charged by Ideal Energy to summon Xibalba and keep it afloat. In actuality, usage of the skulls were likely not needed bar activating a line of the Oracle of Maia if they are placed in the correct order.
Bomb Shelter	The Bomb Shelter in Kasugayama High School was said to be inescapable and will seal off the entrance once someone enters it. However, if one uses a mirror, they can escape. Yasuo Inoe tricked the party into being trapped, stalling them so he had just enough time for him to fulfill a line from the Oracle of Maia before being stopped.
Hiroki Sugimoto is stronger than the Death Boss	Rumor spread by Yasuo Inoe to make his only friend Hiroki Sugimoto stronger than Eikichi Mishina. As a result, if Tatsuya decides to fight Sugimoto rather than let Eikichi deal with him, he is immune to any attack from Eikichi. Can be got around if Eikichi confronts Sugimoto as Eikichi instead of as "Death Boss," since Inoe specifically used the term when he spread the rumor.
Principal Hanya's death	Hanya can be indirectly killed by Tatsuya if he claims that he died in front of a student after defeating him. If he does so, Hanya will run to Honmaru Park and die.
Maya Amano's rumor ghost	A rumor spread by the Masked Circle about Maya dying in the fire of the Alaya Shrine, causing her ghost to manifest inside Mt. Iwato. The real Maya does not die because of this rumor.
Spear of Destiny	Nyarlathotep spread the rumor of the spear's power 2,000 years ago, so any wound inflicted by it will never fully heal. Near the end of the game, he gives the spear to Maya Okamura and summons her to kill Maya Amano after being defeated as the Great Father, fulfilling the final line of the Oracle of Maia and destroying the world.
