Profile

Persona 3

Liberating Idols appear throughout the second section of the Tziah Block within Tartarus. They will typically be in groups by themselves or occassionally be accompanied by Death Seekers.

They will later reappear in the first section of Antenora within the Abyss of Time.

Persona 4 / Golden

Liberating Idol appears from the 5th floor up in Marukyu Striptease within the Midnight Channel. In battle, it will use Balzac on each other or accompanying Shadows to boost their attack, which can be used to devastating effect if a particularly strong Shadow like the Champion Knight is with it. It will also attempt to use Valiant Dance on the party. When defeated, it may drop Heavy Iron Lump. Selling six Heavy Iron Lumps at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Steel Plate for Kanji Tatsumi in the shop.

In Golden, it appears on floors 3 to 10. It is now weak to fire and light, but repels darkness. In battle, it may also use Rampage in addition to Balzac and Valiant Dance. It may drop Lepidolite for trade at Shiroku Pub. If request #27: Acquire a Charmed Veil is accepted, Liberating Idols will drop Charmed Veils until the request is completed.
