History

Lemurians are a race believed to have existed in the mythical lost continent Lemuria. There are many theories on what kind of lifeform the Lemurians were. Helena Blavatsky believed they were large humanoid hermaphrodites that reproduced by laying eggs and evolved during the time of the Jurassic era, while James Bramwell believed that the Atlanteans descended from them. Lemurians were considered a root race that humanity and Atlanteans evolved from. While most believed that the Lemurians died out Frederick Spencer Oliver believed they survived in underground caves in California.

Lemurians have been depicted as reptillian or black and were believed to have tamed reptiles similar to Plesiosaurus.
