Laser Cannons are first encountered once the party passes the western security partition doors on the west side of the Power Plant. Upon entering the room, the Security System will activate and warn the party away. A fight with a pair of Laser Cannons is initiated should the party decide to stay.

A stronger variant will later appear alongside the Gate Core and 20mm Machinegun after the party opens up the main path through the facility.
