Kumi appears as the master of Hypnos Tower and accompanied by her Persona, Hypnos. An intelligent young woman, in life she felt pressured between her parents' desire for her to maintain high test scores and the drama club's heavy expectations of her as the lead role and was driven to suicide by the Snow Queen mask's influence.
By trapping her fellow students in a dream world, she is convinced she is saving them from the pressures of their real lives. After Hypnos is defeated, she admits that by retreating into her dreams, she was only running from her problems, and passes on.
