History[]

Profile[]
Shin Megami Tensei IV[]
"A Japanese god of wisdom, as well as a god of agriculture and god of the rice field. As Okuninushi built the country, a tiny god came from across the sea. No one knew his name, but when they asked Kuebiko, he told them that it was Sukuna-Hikona. Kuebiko is the deification of the scarecrow, and the name Kuebiko means "man who is falling apart," referring to a scarecrow that has become tattered by wind and rain. Because of this, scarecrows are thought to be mediums of gods, and from there he also became the god of the mountains."
Kuebiko is found in the Shinjuku Metropolitan Government Office, where he refuses to leave or negotiate with the Ashura-kai and their hired hunters. He is angry that they expect him to leave the area when his kind had lived there for ages long before humans ruled it. He also states his kind would never want to eat the artificially manufactured Red Pills rather than normal humans. When hunters are angry that he killed humans, he states that living creatures eating each other is a natural part of nature and that Hunters killing demons for rewards is no different.
If Flynn chooses to kill Kuebiko, he will question why humans always wish to quarrel, but that there is no avoiding fighting when one side attacks with force. As he dies, he believes that his kind is destined to being driven away with contempt and wishes his soul to become a part of the earth and know peace. If Flynn chooses to spare Kuebiko he thanks him for listening to reason, but states that he can no longer live here thanks to the unclean blood that taints the land. In both choices he states there was once no superiority or inferiority between the earth and mankind in the past. The reward regardless of killing him or not is the Jirae Talisman.
When Kuebiko is in Flynn's party, he can evolve into Ukano Mitama when he reaches Level 49.
