Kokoro is a virtual being who was born from the Dragon Stream masquerading as a virtual Mega-Tuber who comes to the remnants of the Liberators to show them simulations of possible futures. As part of her allying with them as the Neo-Liberators, she shows the outcome of the future dogmas sought by the Elements and the Brother of Harmony.
During chapter 14 she works with Megakin plan to pour positive energy into the Dragon Stream to prevent Vanitas from running amok via numerous influencers across the world, however she comes face to face with Period as the only being able to stop him and his plan to use the Demonic program Tupismati from forcing the world to live under his dogma Stand Alone.
The two fight to a standstill as Period attempts to convince her to join him by revealing he knows her true nature: The observational unit created by Vanitas. She rejects him and summons Surt even at the cost of it harming her and the positive energy she’s absorbed to defeat Period. Furious by this and seizing her cheering for an early victory, Period pierces her body leaving them both to die as the positive energy fails to impede Vanitas and the apocalypse begins.
