Koharu is a non-player character from Devil Survivor 2.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Design[edit | edit source]

Koharu is only physically seen a few times in the game, most notably at Otome's final Fate event and another event involving her soon after. She has darkish brown hair that is tied in pigtails. She wears red frocks with white shirt beneath it.

In the anime, she wears a navy frocks and yellow shirt beneath it.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Not much is known about her personality, except that she cares deeply about Otome and is very smart for her age. She also likes the Protagonist, as she drew a drawing of him at the end of Otome's Fate events in Ronaldo's Route.

Profile[edit | edit source]

Devil Survivor 2[edit | edit source]

The daughter of Otome Yanagiya, it is revealed in Otome's Fate System event that Koharu is actually Otome's cousin, and was adopted when her uncle and aunt had died. While Otome honestly loves Koharu, her job at JP's and the added workload due to the Septentrion invasion mean Otome has very little time to spare for her. Koharu often phones Otome at her job, even though she sometimes can't take the call.

At the end of Otome's Fate quest, she will leave her home and wander around Nagoya until drifting near the Nagoya TV Tower. It is there where she meets the Protagonist and talks to him about her situation, wondering if Otome even likes her in the first place. Otome herself appears soon after, having heard Koharu's doubts. She can only wordlessly hug her to demonstrate she truly loves her.

After clearing Otome's Fate Events,it is revealed that Koharu has developed an interest in demons and humorously believes Mithra to be cuter than Lakshmi.

If Otome gets killed on 4th Day's Shock, then Koharu becomes an orphan again, and it is unknown whether she has survived or not.

Devil Survivor 2 The Animation[edit | edit source]

Koharu makes her debut in Devil Survivor 2 The Animation

Koharu has a very minor role in The Animation so far. She was briefly seen, but not fully shown, in a photo that Otome showed Io Nitta in a casual conversation about her own "daughter." Oddly enough, her name nor her face were fully revealed. Her fate is currently unknown after Otome's apparent death (presuming deceased due to the Void consuming the world into nothing in Last Day Sunday Fruition).

After the world restore and time had been reset by Hibiki's wish, she makes her final debut when she was waiting for her mother.
