Koei Tecmo Games Co., Ltd. is a Japanese video game company notable for its "Musou" series of games.
It was established in July 25, 1978 as Koei Co, Ltd.. Eventually, on April 1, 2009, a merger between Koei Co. and Tecmo was established, forming Koei Tecmo Holdings Co., Ltd., a Japanese holding company. It owns several companies, Koei Tecmo Games being one of them. Others include Koei Tecmo Wave, a subsidary that operates game arcades.
Koei Tecmo Games heads several divisions, such as Omega Force, Shibusawa Kou, Team NINJA, Gust, and Ruby Party.
The original Koei was responsible for publishing Persona 3 and Persona 3 FES to Europe, as well as Australia for the latter.
