Karma Soldiers are the general military force for the Karma Society. Though they are typically still human, some have been granted the power of Atma and became Turners, allowing them to transform into various demons. While some are initially aware of Serph and company's true nature, others refer to them as ghosts.

The Karma Soldiers initially encountered Serph and the Embryons in Occupied Sector while hunting for members of Lokapala. They can later be found in the Karma Society Tower, the EGG Installation in its first visit, and the power plant. It is later revealed that the Karma Society carried out the Asura Project, meant to create combat enhancing AI in the Junkyard to be implanted within Karma Soldiers. Out of all the Karma Soldiers the most elite squad would be the Tribhvana, as they are the most powerful and respected unit within the Karma Society. Jenna Angel has command over her own cell of Karma Soldiers, these soldiers have a red stripe on their uniforms instead of the typical light blue.

The human soldiers are typically outfitted with long rifles which can also be used as rods for melee combat. They nullify Expel-elemental magic but are weak to guns. In the event that they catch the party with no time to transform, they can be shot for extra press turns to use for transforming. Karma Soldiers will also use Ration items to heal themselves, or attack items such as Molotovs.

Defeating Karma Soldiers will yield a small amount of Karma, but the party does not gain any Atma for killing them.

Karma Soldiers that can change into demons will have their HP restored to full upon transformation.
