Kaoru Tachibana (橘薫) is a playable character in Majin Tensei II: Spiral Nemesis. A member of Partisan, he is a comrade of Naoki Takeuchi. He is a year older than his comrades, at 24.

Design
Kaoru often has a serious look on his face. He has spiky black hair, a leather jacket, and jeans torn at the knees. He has a red bandage wrapped around his upper leg for an unknown reason.
Profile
Kaoru has a rather dismal family life, with a mother who appears to have gone missing and a drunkard for a father. He is the most serious of the team, yet he cares deeply for all of his comrades. He joined Partisan in 1996 to aid in overthrowing the demon invasion led by Ogiwara. He specializes in using axes and katanas.
After the destruction of Tokyo, and the team's arrival in 2024 - nearly thirty years in the future - he gains innate magical abilities, that seem to originate from the world of Amnesia (the true origin of Ogiwara). This allows him to use Agi, Zio, Giga and Megido magic.
