Jotun of Blood appears in the Harabah Block of Tartarus, between floors 181 to 213. It will attempt to Enrage the party with Infuriate before attacking those affected for increased damage either with the Strike element or by using Deathbound.

Jotun of Blood later reappears as a sub-boss summoned by Conceited Maya. It can only be damaged by physical attacks. It may use all elemental -dyne skills and Megidola, all of which can be powered up by Mind Charge. It may also use Mudoon to instantly kill party members. They possess a minor weakness to Poison and Distress, and resist all other ailments.

Persona 4 / Golden

Jotun of Blood appears in Paradises 8 and 9 of Heaven within the Midnight Channel. In battle, it will cover its weakness with Blue Wall and use Maragion and Megidola to attack. If there is a Conviction Sword present, it will use Green Wall to cover the Sword Shadow's weakness. Despite having Electricity set as a weakness, it will only take normal damage while being knocked down. When defeated, it may drop Bloody Hide. Selling eight Bloody Hides at Daidara Metalworks will unlock Vidar's Boots for Chie Satonaka.

In Golden, Jotun of Blood is strong against Fire and Ice and has no weaknesses. It may attack with Agidyne, Bufudyne, or God's Hand, which may be powered up by Power Charge. It may also drop Aurora Quartz for trade at Shiroku Pub.
