Javelin Rain (ジャベリンレイン, Jaberin Rein)? is a physical skill.
About[]
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne[]
A unique skill for the Demi-fiend, it has him charge energy to his right foot, then throws a rolling sobat, shooting a myriad of light rays at all.
It consumes 40% of HP and is the same value as Xeros Beat, but not only is it stronger, it can inflict Mute on any enemy that is not immune to Physical and/or Death. In the later half of the story, many enemy demons that are resistant to all magic will appear, so it is useful against them.
Shin Megami Tensei IV[]
Javelin Rain deals medium physical damage to all enemies. It has a base cost of 21 MP and has no additional effects.
Shin Megami Tensei V[]
Javelin Rain is a skill found in the Demi-fiend's skill set during his boss fight as part of the "The Return of the True Demon" DLC. The protagonist can inherit this skill from the Demi-fiend's Essence via Essence Fusion.
It deals severe physical damage to all enemies, has a cost of 90 MP with no Physical Skill Affinity upgrades and has a chance of inflicting Seal.

Trivia[]
- The animations of Javelin Rain and Xeros-Beat in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne are swapped in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner. Judging from the skill animations, this is likely a correction instead of development oversight.
