Profile[]

Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse[]

The Jade Dagger is an intangible blade meant for lost souls. Oberon forged it as part of a scheme, but his wife caught him before he could carry it out. Thinking fast, he convinces Navarre that he forged it for "heroes with unfinished business" like him and hands it over.

The Jade Dagger has to be charged at Power Spots for Navarre to use it, and it loses energy as Nanashi moves around. While charged, having Nanashi swing his weapon will send Navarre rushing forward until he either finds a target or runs into an obstacle, after which he returns to Nanashi.

The Jade Dagger is used for:

  • Destroying the Wraith Wall Barriers.
  • Repelling enemies at levels lower than Nanashi.
  • Destroying smaller Wraith Walls that release treasure.

If Nanashi decides to betray his allies and go down the Massacre route, Navarre's destruction does not render the Jade Dagger useless, as Nanashi becomes capable of using it himself after awakening to his true power as a Godslayer. In this case, the Jade Dagger behaves the same way, but it advances and returns faster without the delay incurred by Navarre's animations.
