Iron Mask is the head Devil Summoner of the Phantom Society and the leader of the mysterious Project C. Not many people in the organization know of his true face.
As of the start of the game, Iron Mask has created a Zoma, known as Zenon, and is using the demon to kill the Covenant owners and claim them for himself.
The Iron Mask is romantically involved with Milady, but he would order R.S. to assassinate her. Apparently she also knew of the Iron Mask's true face. However, as of recently Iron Mask would be assassinated, and his identity would be taken up by an imposter, who would immediately deal with the holders of any Covenants, including Milady herself.
It is eventually revealed that Paul Taylor was killed in a battle with Raven. After his death, Raven would take the iron mask for himself, along with spell sequence to control Zenon, having seen the blue Covenant enter the Zoma while he was still in his tank.
The Iron Mask is used as the face of the leader of the Phantom Society, with multiple individuals taking the mantle of Iron Mask:
Paul Taylor, the original Iron Mask known to most everyone among the general public.
Raven, who claimed the mantle of Iron Mask after assassinating Paul Taylor.
Milady, a potential candidate shown taking the Iron Mask mantle in a possible future within her Soul Matrix.
