Design[]
Ichigo has pale skin, blue eyes, hair that is navy blue on her left side and a lighter shade of blue on her right side with blue ribbons tied above her ears. She wears a gothic Jirai Kei dress, a choker, a purple ribbon with a blue heart-shaped gem and a smaller pendant hanging from a silver chain on top of her bust. The detached sleeves have ruffled cuffs and crisscrossing straps. There is a loose belt with three heart ornaments attached to black ribbons above a strand of blue beads separated by white beads with more heart ornaments without ribbons and diamond shaped beads at the ends. She wears a fishnet stocking on her left leg with a black bow, three straps on the shin of her right leg, pinstriped dark gray pink socks and navy blue platform shoes.
As Berry, she wears a black and spiky tiara decorated with red rose blossoms and thorns, a red half-butterfly mask and pink crystal earrings. Attached to the headdress is a tattered veil. She wears lacy black gloves with red string wrapped around her wrists, black ribbons wrapped around her upper arms, a more revealing black dress featuring a skeletal motif, with a translucent collar with several pink crystals in a vertical line that end at her cleavage. The skirt of her dress has a tattered lower hem, her stockings have multiple runs on her upper thighs and she wears dark pink thigh-high laced boots with black ribbons at the tops. She wields a scythe.
Personality[]
Ichigo speaks in third-person. She has a somewhat mercurial mood and often worries about her own cuteness. When she's practicing lines from manga or anime, Ichigo is more serious, able to switch her tone of voice depending on the character's role.

Persona 5: The Phantom X[]
Ichigo is a third-year high school student and a voice actress.
The protagonist meets Ichigo while they are both in line for menchi-katsu at the fried patty store in Kichijoji. After seeing Ichigo get frustrated that she missed the last one, the protagonist offers her the one he bought which helps the two become friends. Ichigo admires the protagonist as her prince, overlapping herself with the heroine of a magical girl anime that she loves, as the heroine also receives a menchi-katsu from the prince in the anime.
Apparently, Ichigo is a huge fan of Yuna Nakabayashi, a well-known voice actress who can voice any character personality without flaws.
Etymology[]
- Ichigo consists of the kanji meaning "strawberry" (苺) (ichigo). This motif of strawberries is repeated in:

Trivia[]
- Ichigo's birthday (January 5th) falls on Japan's Strawberry Day, due to the numbers "1/5" (一/五) (ichi-go) being a homophone for "strawberry" (苺) (ichigo). The double meaning of January 5th is not lost on Ichigo, who describes the date as being "her day."
- In her spotlight trailer, during a mercurial episode in which she converses with multiple versions of herself while anxiously waiting for the protagonist to reply to her text, one self-deprecative version of her refers to herself as "Ichigomi" (イチゴミ), a portmanteau combining her name "strawberry" (イチゴ) (ichigo) and "trash" (ゴミ) (gomi).
