Homo Tenta are among the smallest and most common varieties of humans. They appear in the game's early dungeons, such as the Northern Border Fort, the Nord Mines and the Regalith Grand Cathedral.
Due to their nonthreatening appearances, many people in the United Kingdom of Euchronia do not realize that Homo Tenta are humans. Some even find them cute, and fondly refer to them as "wisdom teeth" due to their tendency to share pieces of knowledge. In places such as the Belega Corridor and the Gracia Forest, non-hostile Homo Tenta capable of speech will give the party gameplay tips if the protagonist interacts with them. They tend to speak in tooth-related puns.
Several variations of Homo Tenta appear throughout the story. These variations include Azure, Ochre and Golden Homo Tenta.
