Homo Pento is a human first encountered in the Land of Ceremony. To complete The Trial of Malnova and progress Eupha's follower bond, the party must defeat Homo Pento alongside her.
Strategy[]
Homo Pento is susceptible to Fire and Light attacks, so it is recommended to use Fire skills, such as Botra or Synthesis Skills. After the party's turn has ended, Homo Pento will use Soul Cry to gain two turns, using one of them to Summon a Summon Knight Skeleto, who will then finish the turn by buffing Homo Pento's Attack and Defence by two ranks.
If the party doesn't eliminate Homo Pento in the next turn, Summon Knight Skeleto may heal a large portion of Homo Pento's HP.
Having someone with the Faker Archtype can make this battle easier, as it's skill, Dekaja, will remove Summon Knight Skeleto's buffs on Homo Pento. This forces it to waste another turn reapplying buffs, giving the party a moment to counterattack.
Homo Pento abilities aren't very strong on their own, so keep Summon Knight Skeleto occupied with Dekaja while the rest of the party chips away at Homo Pento's HP with Fire or Light attacks.
