Homo Flaemo is a human boss in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
Appearances[]
- Metaphor: ReFantazio: Boss
Profile[]
During their quest to find and secure the divine relic Drakodios, the protagonist and his party encountered several spectral Homo Orelons while traversing Drakongrace Shinjuku, patrolling the corridors. Through careful observation, the party deduced the humans only move when they do, allowing them to predict their movements and avoid battling it.
However, in order to reach the altar deep within the Dragon Temple, the party must activate the contraption powering the lifts, guarded by numerous spectral Homo Orelons. With the help of the priestess Eupha and her ability to see magla, she deduced that there must be a main body hiding somewhere and conjuring the spectral humans. The party eventually tracked down Homo Flaemo, the main body of the humans, and vanquished it. This dispelled every Homo Orelon in the dungeon, thus allowing the party to continue on their quest.
The humans reappeared again on the Skybound Avatar. While traversing the royal palace and searching for Louis, two Homo Flaemos and their spectral Homo Orelons suddenly appeared and blocked the party's path in the royal gardens, forcing them once again to track down the main bodies and vanquishing them.
Trivia[]
The presumed inspiration for Homo Flaemo's design.
- The behavior of this particular human closely resembles the F.O.Es as seen in the Etrian Odyssey and Persona Q series.
- The design of Homo Flaemo resembles a portion depicted on the right panel of The Garden of Earthly Delights.
- In the Skybound Avatar, "Homo Flaemo" is used for the spectral projections, while "Voidblack Homo Orelon" is used for the main bodies. The reason for this is unclear.
