"So, you've managed to make it all the way here, but I'm afraid you are too late, in any case. My name is Hoenheim. I am the legendary sage, the one who bears the secret of how to give rise to new lives in this world."
Hoenheim is the curator of the Hoenheim Lab. He was a great sage who learned how to control and create demons. Some time ago, Paragon, commander of the Constance army, The Bronze Knights, and later Gryas, defeated Hoenheim in order to obtain his secret to create demons. He now attempts to stop Mattel and his group from progressing past him. Fearing that they too, will become like Paragon and Gryas, selfish and corrupt from the knowledge obtained. Hoenheim dies and his dying words mock the group that they shall never escape his lab alive.
He is named after Paracelsus, born Theophrastus von Hohenheim, a Swiss physician, alchemist, lay theologian and philosopher of the German Renaissance.
In the other last Bible games, the Book of Baal is needed for the knowledge of creating demons. Whether Hoenheim managed to obtain a copy, or simply discovered the secret on his own is unclear.
