Hippou is a demon in the series.
History [ ] In Chinese mythology, Hippou, also known as Bifang (畢方) in China, is a bird that dwelled in Mount Zhang'e that resembled a crane with one foot and red markings on its head. It cries out with a sound of "bifang!" and seeing it is an omen of fire. However, it can also be a creature of divinity and good fortune that chariots the worthy to meet gods and demons.
