Highlight is a major mechanic in the Persona 5: The Phantom X.

Overview[]
Highlights are special moves for Persona 5 series related party members that can be unleashed by filling up the gauge. What each Highlight varies on the person using the move. Certain Highlight heal, buff or debuff as opposed to straight damage. The protagonist has different highlights depending on what Persona he has currently equipped when doing the Highlight. The Navigators do not have access to Highlight due to their non combat roles.

Sweeper: Damage to all foes with X% attack. Medic: Restores all party's HP. Guardian: Grant all party's shield. Strategist: Increase all party' Attack. Saboteur: Damage to all foes with X% attack, and increases their received damage. |
Cattle | Restores all party's HP and increase party's Attack for 1 turn. |
Closer | Elec damage to all foes. Inflict shock and increase Elec damage for 2 turns. |
Closer (Summer) | Bless damage to all foes and increase Summer sizzle damage. |
Soy | Ice damage to 1 foe, Increase party's max HP by 10.3% of Soy's Max Hp for 2 turns and restore party's HP by X% of Soy's Max HP |
Wind (Vast) | Increases a singular ally’s attack significantly as well as boost their critical damage. All other allies restore 20 SP |
Luce | Increase all party's attack and grants additional buff to single ally. |
Fleuret | Wind damage to 1 foe 4x. When Right to Strike is at 3 or more stacks, increase hits by 1. |
Mont | Ice damage to 1 foe. Increase damage based on foe's missing HP. When foe's HP is below 20%, increase by a maximun of 30% |
Mont (Figure Skating) | Her highlight changes depending on her current state.
Winter Night: Ice damage to one foe White Mid-Spring: Wind damage to one foe and hit the same foe three times. |
Yuki | Bless damage to 1 foe equal to X% of Yuki's Defense. Also increase party's Defense by 20% of Yuki's defense for 2 turns. |
Moko | Inflicts Sleep on 1 foe, and increase damage taken for 1 turn. |
Moko (Summer) | Psy damage to a random foes 3x. This move hits prioritizing foe who weren’t hit by the attack. Each foe hit will have decreased damage. |
Leon | Grant the maximun number of Power of Friendship stacks to 1 ally (other than Leon) for 2 turns. If the target's HP is below 60%, restore HP up to 60%. Also increase Attack by 15% of Leon's attack for 2 turns. |
Key | Fire damage to all foes and increase all foes fire damage taken. Also, Inflict Burn for 2 turns. |
Sepia | Curse damage to 1 foe 3x. Also, the next 2 times Sonnet of Fate is activated, increase its Attack by X%. |
Rin | Curse damage to all foes, and increase target's damage taken by X%. 30% chance to inflict Forget on foes for 2 turns. |
Rin (Lion Dance) | Fire damage to all foes, and makes Fiery Shooting Star (Rin’s enhanced melee attack) deals more damage. |
Riddle | Psy damage to 1 foe and increase party's damage for 1 turn by X% for each stack of Mystery. |
Bui | Increases Bui’s attack and also increases the damage of her follow up attacks. If a party member uses a damage dealing skill to an foe, Bui will initiate a follow up attack on that foe. |
Marian | Restore all party's HP and dispells an aliment debuff. The chosen target gets HP increase. |
Vino | Nuke damage to one foe. Has a high chance of inflicting two random debuffs. |
Chord | All allies get a damage bonus. When each ally acts they get more highlight gauge. |
Messa | Physical damage to one foe, gain 5 stacks of Bleeding, then deals additional damage to that foe |
Cherish | Grants shield and Down Points, then increases the damage all foes take for two turns. |
Howler | Fire damage to all foes and inflicts them with the Big Bad debuff (increases damage taken by follow up and fire attacks). |
Matoi | Ice damage to all foes and inflicts them with the tidal wave debuff. |
Turbo | Increase attacks to all allies and grants turn advantage. |
Berry | Curse damage to 1 foe. |
Joker | Curse damage to all foes. Gain 1 Will of Rebellion. (having 3 will enable Joker to get an extra turn) |
Mona | Wind damage to 1 foe, and revive 1 random KO'ed ally with 20% HP. |
Skull | Physical damage to 1 foe, and increase damage of next skill by X%. |
Panther | Fire damage to all foes. Increases fire damage (1 turn) . |
Fox | Ice Damage to all foes. Increases the chance of counter attack and damage for three turns. |
Queen | Nuke damage to 1 foe and inflicts them with two ailments |
Noir | Psy damage to all foes and gain additional Psychic Ammo. |
Violet | Bless Damage to 1 foe. If Violet has 1 or more Posture, the damage will increase and have a higher chance to crit |
Crow | Almighty Damage to all foes, additional Bless and Curse damage depends on the truth and chaos stack. |
