Heat Balances appear on the 6th and 7th floors of Yukiko's Castle in the Midnight Channel, and they repel Electricity and Wind attacks. While not set as a weakness, Heat Balances will take double damage from Almighty attacks. Upon being defeated, they may drop a Golden Dish. Selling 10 Golden Dishes at Daidara will unlock the Nanman Gusoku weapon for Chie in the shop's inventory.
Heat Balances also play a role in the quest Acquire a Ritz Wire. After accepting the request from the male student on the first floor of the practice wing, defeating a Heat Balance will yield this item. Return it to the student to complete the quest.
Heat Balances appear on the sixth and seventh floors of Yukiko's Castle in the Midnight Channel. They will use Sukukaja to boost their Hit Rate and Evasion and attack with Agi and Bufu. Heat Balances also have access to the Red Wall and White Wall skills and will use it to cover the weakness of their allies. Unlike their P4 counterparts, they won't focus solely on the protagonist in battle. After being defeated, they may drop a Golden Dish. Selling 6 Golden Dishes at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Nanman Gusoku weapon for Chie Satonaka.
The Heat Balance Shadows appear in the 2nd Ave and 3rd Ave of the first Theater, Kamoshidamnan. Their Fire Dance and Ice Dance skills can hit multiple party members with the corresponding elemental damage. Its Balance Chain drop is used to make the Sleet Dagger for the P5 hero, Training Whip for Ann and Shoulder Vest male armor. Its Balance Stone is used to produce the Toxoid Saber for Akechi, Mount Liang for Morgana, Puffy Down Coat unisex armor and the Fierce Whip for Ann.
