The head monk is a nameless character that appears in the story. Later on, he indirectly appears as the rumor demon, the Jumping Geezer.

The head monk is first encountered when the party reaches Goketsuji at Mt. Katatsumuri. He passes along one of Shunsuke Fujii's special cameras to Yukino.
