Persona 2: Innocent Sin
After reaching Goketsuji, the party can return back to the entrance of Mt. Katatsumuri to find a hiker who "spotted" this demon. If Tatsuya spreads the rumor and ascends back into the mountains, the Jumping Geezer can be encountered.
If Tatsuya talks to one of the young monks in Goketsuji beforehand or otherwise, it is revealed that the elderly Head Monk often runs around, jumps, and trains in the mountains and he is often mistaken as a mythical beast and such by people who see him. Because of this, it can be speculated that the Jumping Geezer is in fact the misinterpretation of people spotting the Head Monk in the mountains and thinking he was a demon.
