—Introductory Description

The head monk is first encountered when the party reaches Goketsuji at Mt. Katatsumuri. He passes along one of Shunsuke Fujii's special cameras to Yukino Mayuzumi.

Jumping Geezer

If Tatsuya talks to one of the young monks in Goketsuji beforehand, it is revealed that when the elderly head monk trains in the mountains, he is mistaken by outsiders as a mythical beast for his swift movement.

After returning back to the entrance of Mt. Katatsumuri, Tatsuya can talk to a hiker who "spotted" the Jumping Geezer, which is actually a misinterpretation of the head monk. If Tatsuya spreads the rumor and ascends back into the mountains, the Jumping Geezer can be encountered. After defeating it, its Jumping Geta can be traded to the rumor-giver for a Holylight Card.
