Gyu-ki is a demon in the series.

History

Gyu-Ki (牛鬼), also known as Ushioni, is a monster with the head of a bull and the body of a spider. It is vicious, brutal, and extremely belligerent, and is said to attack and devour humans who walk along beaches. Its superhuman strength and relentless nature mean that once it sets its sights on you, there is no escape.

Today, there is a festival in Uwajima, Ehime, Japan featuring a parade dedicated to Gyuki, and many shrines throughout Japan also pay tribute to Gyu-ki.

Gyuki can be contracted on Nakano field and within the Nakano Stone Site instance. A field boss variant can be encountered during certain moon phases.

A member of the Maribel tribe has Gyu-Ki as his Atma Avatar, and he fights against the Embryon as they attempt to negotiate a truce between themselves and the Maribel. Later, several Gyu-Ki are encountered in the trap floor of the Citadel at Anahata.
