Gun (銃撃, Juugeki)?, sometimes called Shot or Gunfire, is an element of physical attacks in certain games in the Megami Tensei franchise. While the name primarily refers to firearms carried by certain player characters, it also applies to physical projectile attacks used by some demons (such as Needle Shot).
Being physical attacks, most Gun skills consume a percentage of HP to use.
The following skills are exclusive to the equipable guns in Strange Journey or the password only Demonica-C, Demonica-N, and Demonica-L demons. None of these skills can be found on a Demon Source.

Flynn obtains a Gun found in Naraku Excavation Worker Quarters in a Nurse office which allows him to use the skill Shoot without wasting any MP similarly to his normal Attack skill.
In Persona 5, each party member in the Phantom Thieves of Hearts have access to a gun with limited ammo, refilled after leaving the Metaverse or using Reserve Ammo. Each party member has a different amount of ammo, accuracy and damage with their bullets. The protagonist can go to Munehisa Iwai's shop Untouchable to purchase or customize guns. Certain Personas can also be transformed into weapons with the Electric Chair in the Velvet Room, although certain guns will not be available for creation until their user has officially joined. For example, Yurlungur's Electric Chair result, the Mirrirmina, is listed as unknown until Makoto Niijima joins the Phantom Thieves, as only she uses revolvers.
There are no passive skills that defend against Gun skills, although some Personas innately have an affinity to them.
In Persona 5 Royal, gun ammo will refill after the end of every fight, without having to leave the Metaverse for the day, although the max ammo has been reduced to make up for it.
Additionally, Double Shot has been added, and Dream Needle's type had been changed from Physical to Gun.
