Gryas

Gryas is a character and title in the Last Bible Series.

Last Bible II[]

Medoch convinced the king that if Gryas is resurrected it will be the end of him, believing Gryas to have been responsible for the destruction of the 5th planet. It is later revealed that Gryas was actually a compassionate leader that believed all life was precious, and led a campaign against Black Gaia. However, he failed and was killed, along with his companions. He is later reincarnated as Yuri, who succeeds in stopping Black Gaia and becomes the King of Monsters.

Last Bible III[]

At some unknown point, Gryas later became the King of Magoku, with the title being passed down to each successive reincarnation of Gryas. However, the most recent King Gryas died and for 15 years the new reincarnation had not been found, leaving them without a king. It is later revealed that Alon's little sister Rena is the reincarnation of Gryas, and she takes over as ruler. At some point it became expected that each King Gryas also has a Terra Dragon by their side when they rule, this role being taken on by "Teeny."

Last Bible Special[]

King Gryas rules over Jerusalem, and Paragon sends Mattel to recapture Jerusalem. If Gryas is killed, he says that the world will be for humans alone now, though he will one day return to make a world for monsters as well. However, if Mattel hears Gryas out, he reveals the Goddess wants a world that is for both humans and monsters, and that Paragon only wants to be a selfish ruler. He then helps Mattel to fight back against Paragon and stop his scheme.

Trivia[]

From Last Bible II onward, each Gryas is known because they have El's staff. It is likely that this started in Last Bible II, as during the first game, Gryas is on the 5th planet when it is destroyed while El is on Terra.
Yuri is the only incarnation of Gryas also shown to have awakened to the power of Force.
