Profile

Upon opening the main partition doors in the central corridor of the facility, the party may proceed through and will come to another security door. They will receive the same warning from the Security System as before, and the battle will start when they choose to stay put. The Gate Core appears along with a stronger version of the 20mm Machinegun and Laser Cannon, although its main attack takes time to charge.

The core will spend five turns readying itself before exposing a launcher and will attack with Flare Cannon the next turn. If one accompanying device is destroyed, the time between firing will be reduced to two turns. If both accompanying devices are destroyed, the core will fire every round.

Before the launcher is exposed, the core will take minimal damage from everything and will have no weaknesses.
