Gaia (ガイア, Gaia) is a recurring term in the Shin Megami Tensei series. It often symbolizes power, chaos and triumph of one individual. The term Gaia is also associated with a recurring Cult throughout the series, namely Cult of Gaia, and is also associated with the 'Chaos' alignment.

Gaia, or Gæa (often incorrectly rendered Gaea) is the mother earth goddess from Greek Mythology.

Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner

The skill "Gaea Rage" can be seen used by the Hito-Shura as an optional boss in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner. It creates a much more devastating effect, easily dealing over 10,000 damage upon all characters. It should also be noted that Gaea Rage is an Almighty-based attack in Digital Devil Saga, rather than a physical-based attack. Should players enters the battle with any equipment or skills that would normally shield from his attacks, the Hito-Shura opens the battle with Gaea Rage, killing all characters instantly.
