History

One of the Seven Lucky Gods in Japanese mythology. He is typically depicted as being bald with long whiskers and has a book tied to his staff that contains information on the lifespans of every person on Earth. He is often accompanied by a crane, turtle, or black deer, all of which are symbols of longevity.
