Free Bambino appears in Magatsu Mandala, once summoned by Great Kings which appear in the first World. As the Great King summons a seemingly infinite number of Free Bambino Shadows to the field (up to 3-4 at a time due to a 5 slot limit), the party can farm them for money and EXP. They cast Amrita to cure any status ailment that is inflicted on them and use Brave Blade to attack. When defeated, it may drop Royal Blossom. Selling six Royal Blossoms at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Kikusui Awase female armor in the shop.
In Golden, due to Great Kings now appearing in Magatsu Inaba, Free Bambinos will only appear in Magatsu Inaba. It gains a weakness to ice and may use Spirit Leech in battle. Once defeated, it may also drop Aurora Quartz for trade at Shiroku Pub.

Free Bambino appears on the 3rd Block of the Theater District. It attacks with single-target Physical skills, may Bind the party's magic, and may raise its defense and evasion for three turns. When defeated, it may drop Bambino Cache and Bambino Flower. Bambino Cache is used to create the Shizuka for the P3P heroine. Bambino Flower is used to create the Omega Saber for Akechi and the Eternity Dress female armor.
