Forums: Index > The Cathedral > Why was the Medusa page deleted?

While trying to create a page for Medusa, I recieved a notification that this page was previously deleted and something about whether it was appropriate to create it again. I don't get it. Medusa was a character in the series, having a role in the original Megami Tensei, and re-appearing in Megami Tensei II, and the Majin Tensei spin-off series, among other games in the overall series. Why was the page deleted, and why does the notification appear asking me to think about whether it's appropriate to make the page? GalaxiaWild 19:44, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

I just looked and all I can deduce from the page is that Bluerfn deleted the page and the content of the page was {{delete}}. I can't access the history of the page itself to see who marked it for deletion and if there was a deletion reason. UserGreatMaraMessage 20:36, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

The Medusa page was deleted because this was the original content written by an anonymous:

(Mob Excess Deterrent Using Silent Audio)
A fictional energy weapon in Philip Reeve's novel Mortal Engines. That puts voicis into peoples head, to control any given situation. Also a weapon in development by the US, That would emit high frequency sound waves to deter rioters.
(as of 2010 it is complete.)

This was subsequently requested to be deleted by Great Mara, and deleted by me. We're sorry for the inconvenience and if you have the content necessary, the page can be recreated. BLUER一番 13:27, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

Odd, I remember that content but I don't remember that the page was titled Medusa. How did you pull up the content records BTW? Or is that admin only access? UserGreatMaraMessage 17:51, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
