Index > Temple of Gaia > PSP vs DS = Persona?
So I saw online about the remake/rerelease of Innocent Sin for PSP and I was excited. But confusion followed when I got an issue of Nintendo Power. Following the release of 3DS are some games I'm looking forward to playing. To my surprise however; Shin Megami Tensei, Persona and Devil Survior are listed as games to be released following the 3DS. So with that in mind; Does this mean that Nintendo is slowly becoming the new Megami Tensei outlet replacing Sony or is it just a move to get hardcore Nintendo players to see the Megami Tensei series as well?

Probably. The PSP, while strong, isn't as strong isn't as strong as the 3DS, which has probably enough power for ATLUS' comfort zone. I'm pretty sure the 3D aspect also caught their eye in what they could with first-person perspective games (which is just great for classic SMT games). -- Otogi_2, December 30, 2010.
True but what does that mean for games like Persona 3 and 4? I like the system they used a bit more than the one in the originals(even though the originals were legit). Would a full tranfer to Nintendo spell the end of the formats used in 3 and 4? adam_tensei 21:58, December 30, 2010 (UTC)
I wouldn't say necessarily. The action would probably just go on the top, while the stats and action-selection would be on the touch screen. Hey, maybe they'll surprise us! -- Otogi_2, December 31, 2010
Hmmm.... I never thought of it that way. Now I really can't wait to see the 3DS adaptaions of SMT. XD
