Flame Apostle (炎の使徒, Honoo no shito) is a demon in the series.

Flame Apostle is the ruler of the world of fire, Muspelheim. Chosen in the past by Shugoshin to wield the power of Flame and Light, he leads the demons of Muspelheim in an endless war with the demons of Niflheim. As Akira continues to fight his forces he sends Rashnu to deal with him. When Akira confronts him in his castle he reveals that the girl Amy Kashihara is destined to become a Goddess that will create a new world where the forces of Light & Dark will continue their endless battle.
After his defeat, he comes to realize that Akira has the power to change the fate of the world and tells him to find the place that is hidden.
