Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth[]
Cute Baby is an F.O.E found in Stories 1 through 4 of the Evil Spirit Club. This F.O.E will drop from the ceiling following the sound of a rattle and chase the party until they exit the room. If they lure the F.O.E in front of a door leading into a music room, it can be put to sleep. Stepping on areas with creaky floorboards however will wake them up. When defeated, it may drop Old Pacifier. Old Pacifier is used to create the Mystic Veil female armor, and the Anti-Seal Armor for Aigis.
Strategy[]
Cute Babies have immensely high physical power, as well as a cut resistance that makes linking tactics less viable than usual. Fortunately, they also have a non-immunity to Hamaon, at a point where access to Hamaon should be within reach. This vulnerability is further compounded by the fact that they have a high likelihood of losing a turn should the party attack them with Light magic. This weakness allows the party to not only defeat the Cute Baby, but to effectively grind off of it, harvesting a sizable roster of Personas well above level 40 and gaining a substantial amount of EXP for a battle that could theoretically be ended in one turn by a one-man party.
Due to the boss's sizable attack stat, equipping armor with high defense values is more important than normal. Despite the skills being single target, Cute Baby has an unlisted passive after 50% which can cause its skills to gain a Splash Effect which may deplete a party member's HP easily on higher percentages. Strong and consistant healing will be a great asset, just like with other F.O.E.s.
