Megami Tensei II[]
The Fields of Lunacy is the second area of the Expanse, which can only be reached in the hero holds the Orb of Insanity. Unlike the previous area, the Valley of Despair, there is little to explore, just a single town and Belial's Castle. Belial's Castle is surrounded by a wall of flame, which can only be breached using the Flood Tide Orb, retrieved by Undine from a bottomless lake in a cave near Asmodai's cave. Defeating Belial earns the hero the Orb of Anger, which allows the party to travel to the Lands of Rage.
In the basement of Belial's Castle, the hero finds Izanami's soul. If the hero brings back the Revival Incense from Moloch's Temple, in the Lands of Rage, she can be revived.
Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei[]
If the Silk Thread is given to Izanami in Megami Tensei, upon her revival she will give the hero the Izanami Clothes, which protect the hero from all damaging floors, both on the world map and in dungeons.
