The unnamed Fantasy Novel (幻想小説, Gensō shōsetsu)? is a book and an important plot device in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

The book is written by More. It depicts a world with only one tribe, where people are born equal and free without discrimination, and that is protected by law. There is also no magic, which is replaced by learning and labor. Other traits of the utopia include security, democracy and protection against discrimination. The utopia of the fantasy novel is implied to be based on the real, modern world.
The book was however quickly banned, and it is rare to find copies of the novel. That being said, some of its holders include the protagonist and Louis Guiabern.
The protagonist uses his fantasy novel to access Akademeia.
