Evil Melody (魔縁のラッパ, Maen no Rappa)? is an Almighty skill. It is the signature skill of Trumpeter.
Effect[]
In Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, Evil Melody instantly kills the combatant with the lowest amount of HP. When used by the enemy, Evil Melody will never target the caster.
In Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse, Evil Melody deals weak Almighty damage to one foe. If the user is Smirking, it instantly kills.
In Shin Megami Tensei V / V: Vengeance, Evil Melody is an Ailment skill that instantly kills one foe.

Etymology[]
Maen (魔縁) is a Japanese Buddhist concept of evils, similar to the Sanskrit "adharma." It is a collection of the "three obstacles" (lusts, misdeeds and bad karma) and "four demons" (which include Mara/Dairoku Tenmaou).
